Ranch Llc is a partnership joining Dave & Andi Culbertson and Pete &
Cheri Wolfe in the breeding of fine AQHA Cutting Horses.
This partnership is using mares acquired from Joe Ayres shortly before he
lost his battle with cancer.
Joe was very well known in the cutting horse industry as one of the
master breeders of some of the best cutting horses to ever look through a
bridle. We
are utilizing daughters of Joe's beloved Freckles Merada as well as daughters of
Doc's Hickory and Smart Little Lena that were bred and raised by Joe.
Our Hickory daughter is from the family of Lenaette, Joe's NCHA Open
Futurity Champion that was a daughter of Doc O'Lena out of the great mare, Bar Socks Babe.
(Bar Socks Babe is also the dam of Travelena and Havelena and many others.) These mares come from the very foundation of the cutting horse
industry that are still producing champions today. These
mares have been bred to stallions like Mecom Blue, Sweet Lil Pepto, Soula Jule Star,
Wild Haired Cat, Thomas E Hughes, etc. The 1st foals produced are now ready for new homes. They have been raised in big pastures to develop good feet and bone. They have been carefully cared for but have been allowed to be horses. They are guaranteed healthy and sound. They have been skillfully handled and have good ground manners. EVERY
horse we raise IS FOR SALE!! We have one horse in training and she is for sale, so you can pick one that is riding age or take YOUR choice from the entire crop and not just the ones we don't want to keep and train ourselves. How cool is that?
